Hailey began dancing in Brooklyn after her brother started and taught her the first steps. With only a year under her, covid hit and we were virtual and moved to NJ where we found Mrs. Colleen and D’arcy.
Hailey struggles with anxiety and ADD and when she started at D’arcy she was a bit shy. Each class she grew more and more confident with her dancing. Irish dance helped with her anxieties. She gained confidence every day. She learned how to overcome failure and mistakes. She has teachers who push her but show her love and guidance. 3 years later, I see so much improvement in her steps and confidence on stage. D’arcy gave Hailey the strength, confidence and a family who cheers on each other at competition and helps and picks them up when they need some love!
